• Your order is appreciated and will be shipped within 2 working days. If you need immediate delivery please don’t hesitate to contact me.

• Pick up is available for Adelaide customers. Select this at checkout. Upon purchase, I will be in touch via email to organise a suitable time and day.

• Freight costs continue to rise and as a small business, I am unable to absorb shipping costs entirely. However, I do absorb a portion depending on the value of your order.

• Shipping is Australia-wide only.

• Shipping costs: $14 for 1 candle, $10 for 2+ candles.

• Delivery is via Sendle freight partners (Couriers Please, Fastway, etc)

• If you are interested in becoming a retailer, a separate shipping invoice will be provided depending on your order.

• Items are always checked before shipping. In the instance of receiving a damaged order, please contact me via email melicandles.co@gmail.com within 2 working days of your delivery. Replacements or credit can be offered.

What is in my candle?

Pure, filtered South Australian Beeswax, purified coconut oil, a wooden wick and premium fragrance / essential oil blends. Nothing more.

The nature of beeswax

Beeswax is the original wax, dating back to ancient times. Beeswax is a natural was created by honeybees. It has its own character. Warm in colour, rich in texture, subtly scented by the hive and diet of the bees. We do not use additives or stabilisers. Because we have kept it in its natural form, there may be characteristics like: cracking, air pockets. These are normal and do not affect the candle and how it burns. In fact, they are signs of the candles purity.

How should I burn the candle?

It’s important that you follow the Candle Care Card included in your candle. Some important tips are:

• Every time you burn your candle, ensure the wax pool reaches the outer rim of the jar. This will prevent tunnelling.

• Always burn your candle within sight. Never leave unattended and keep away from flammable materials like curtains, decor (such as artificial flowers) and furniture.

• Use a snuffer or gently blow out the flame to extinguish.

• Never ever leave your candle on an unstable surface while burning.

• Do not burn your candle for longer than 3 hours at a time. This is a fire hazard.

• Always ensure the room is ventilated when candle is lit,.

• Do not burn the candle to the bottom of the jar. Discared when wax level is 2cm from bottom.
